Back to Belgium after an amazing press trip in France with Grey Goose!
As you might have seen on my Instagram and Stories, I did a three days immersion at the heart of the universe of Grey Goose.

Last Monday, I had an appointement at Zaventem airport to fly to Bordeaux.
After having landed, we headed to Juillac-Le-Coq, at the heart of Cognac region, famous for creating the best wines and spirits of the world.
We arrived at the Logis at sunset, it was magnificent!

We were warmly welcomed by the Logis Grey Goose team, with a welcome drink.
Followed with a barbecue, where we met the rest of the group.
15 Belgians were invited: journalists, mixologists, baristas and myself, blogger:) a very nice group with very different people.
I really like press events because it’s the occasion to make great encounters.
As you will see in the pics below, we ended the evening with a delicious Grey Goose punch in the Salon. A delight!

Tuesday morning, after a good breakfast under the sun, immersion in the universe of Grey Goose with François Thibault, cellar master, who presented us Grey Goose, its history, the different steps to create the vodka: from field to bottle. All this while walking in the vineyards and enjoying the beautiful landscapes.
Later, we participated to a vodka Grey Goose tasting:
Grey Goose – l’original- , Le Melon, La Poire, Cherry Noir, L’Orange, Le Citron but also special ones like VX, Ducasse, … Find them all right here;)
It was an amazing experience, I never participated to a vodka tasting before. I particulary loved Le Melon;)

Tuesday afternoon, after lunch, we enjoyed the beautiful pool.
At 6PM, after the apero where we had a tasty Grey Goose Martini cocktail, we had a mixology workshop at the Bar of the Logis.
A “Top Chef” cocktail version: each team had to create a cocktail, name it and tell a story about it. The stories were very original and funny, some were very creative, I adored it:D

Then, we had dinner in the Salle à Manger du Logis, beautifully decorated, where they served us delicious dishes accompanied by cocktails: “accords mets et cocktails” was a first time for me!
We ended the night with an Espresso Martini and a pétanque game.

De retour à Bruxelles après un super voyage de presse en France avec Grey Goose!
Comme vous l’aurez déjà vu sur mon Instagram et mes Stories, je suis partie 3 jours pour une immersion au coeur de l’univers et de l’histoire de Grey Goose.

Lundi dernier, j’avais rendez-vous à l’aéroport de Zaventem pour m’envoler vers Bordeaux.
Après avoir atterri, direction Juillac-Le-Coq, au coeur de la région de Cognac, région réputée pour créer les meilleurs vins et spiritueux du monde.
Nous sommes arrivés au Logis au coucher de soleil, c’était vraiment magnifique! Une très belle région à découvrir si vous ne la connaissez pas encore…;)

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par l’équipe Grey Goose au Logis avec un welcome drink.
Suivi d’un super barbecue, où nous avons fait la connaissance du reste du groupe.
15 belges invités: journalistes, mixologues, baristas et moi-même, blogger:) Un chouette groupe avec des personnes très différentes.
J’aime beaucoup les évènements presses car c’est l’occasion de faire de super rencontres.
Comme vous pourrez le voir dans les photos ci-dessous, nous avons terminé la soirée dans le Salon, à déguster un punch à la vodka. Un délice!

Mardi matin, après un bon petit déjeuner au soleil, immersion dans l’univers Grey Goose avec François Thibault, maître de chai, qui nous a présenté Grey Goose, son histoire, les différentes étapes pour créer la vodka: depuis le raisin jusqu’à l’embouteillage,…”from field to bottle”. Tout celà en se baladant dans les vignes et en profitant des magnifiques paysages.
Plus tard, nous avons fait une dégustation de vodka Grey Goose:
Grey Goose – l’original- , ainsi que les vodkas aromatisées telles que Le Melon, La Poire, Cherry Noir, L’Orange, Le Citron mais aussi des séries plus spéciales comme VX, Ducasse, … retrouvez-les toutes en cliquant ici😉 une super expérience, je n’avais encore jamais participé à une dégustation de vodka! J’ai été particulièrement séduite par Le Melon;)

Mardi après-midi, après un bon lunch, nous avons profité de la magnifique piscine pour nous raffraîchir.
Vers 18h, après l’apéro où nous avons dégusté un cocktail Grey Goose Martini, nous avions rendez-vous au Bar du Logis pour un atelier de mixologie.
Un “Top Chef” version cocktail: chaque équipe devait créer un cocktail, lui trouver un nom et raconter son histoire. Les histoires sont parties dans tous les sens, certaines étaient très créatives:D J’ai adoré!

Après l’apéro, dîner dans la Salle à manger, magnifiquement décorée, où on nous a servis de délicieux plats accompagnés de leurs cocktails: accords mets et cocktails, encore une première pour moi.
Nous avons terminé la soirée avec un Espresso Martini et une partie de pétanque dans la cour.
