2nd day in Chiang Mai, we had a one-day tour scheduled.
After a quick breakfast and a delicious agave juice at the hotel, a van picked us up.
The day started off discovering the beautiful Wachirathan & Sirithan Waterfalls, which looked like a real paradiiiise!
Later on, we made it to the Doi inthanon National Park.
After discovering the beautiful chedis, we went on a two-hours hike and reached the highest peak of Thailand (soars to 2565m above sea level).
We enjoyed incredible views as you will see in the pics bellow.
The only downside are the tourists like me, taking photos for their Instagram :p (A peak of 12,000 visitors visiting the summit on New Year’s Day!).
For this excursion, I wore my Edwardson sunglasses, pants and boots to avoid insects (and big snakes :p) bites!
Day 3, we went to the Elephant Retirement Park. An excursion I will be glad to share with you in my next post, stay tuned 🙂
